Job summary

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust in Harlow is seeking a Band 5 Radiographer to join a progressive Imaging Department. You will deliver high-quality radiographic services across multiple modalities, supporting a 24/7 imaging model with weekends, evenings and night shifts, and training in CT.

You will work across sites including PAH, Herts and Essex Hospital, and St Margaret's Hospital, with clear CPD and progression pathways.

Qualifications

• Deliver highquality radiographic services across hospital environments.
• Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, clinicians and staff.
• Support and supervise student radiographers and new starters.
• Maintain CPD portfolio and participate in mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations safely and effectively in A&E, wards and theatres.
• Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ro te on a 24/7 rota including evenings, nights and weekends.
• Ensure patient dignity, consent, and language needs are addressed.
• Comply with IR(ME)R 2017, IRR 2017 and local radiation safety rules.
• Maintain accurate patient and equipment records and support radiology IT systems.
