Job summary

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust in Harlow is seeking a Band 5 Radiographer to contribute to a 24/7 diagnostic imaging service across multiple sites, including A&E, theatres, and mobile radiography. Training in CT is provided with opportunities for advanced imaging development.

You will support CPD, participate in audits, and work within IR(ME)R and local radiation safety requirements while delivering patient-centred care across the Trust’s imaging portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level radiography qualification with HCPC registration.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-site imaging service.
• Familiarity with PACS/RIS/PAS and electronic requesting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality radiographic services across A&E, wards and theatres.
• Work flexibly on a 24/7 rota including evenings, nights and weekends.
• Support student radiographers and junior staff; participate in QA and governance.
