General Radiographer

Location: Cheshire, The Wilmslow Hospital

Employment Type: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Shift times: Ranging between 08:00 and 20:00

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £28,450-£34,600 dependent on experience

We’re seeking a dedicated Radiographer to join our team at The Wilmslow Hospital, rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.

As a General Radiographer, your role will involve providing a customer-focused, high-quality diagnostic radiography service to our patients and service users. Applications are welcomed from newly qualified radiographers.

Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Perform departmental examinations with high radiographic skill levels.
  • Assist Consultant Radiologists during examinations, including fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Provide radiographic support in theatre examinations, adhering to radiation and sterile protocols.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as image transfer.
  • Report equipment faults and assist with stock control.
  • Participate in departmental audits as required.
