Job description

Job Title: Bank CT Radiographer

The successful candidate will be committed to providing our patients and referrers with the highest quality of care and service.

This post is for Bank CT Radiographers who are fully trained and employed by UHNM Trust.

The CT scanning department currently operates nine state-of-the-art CT scanners, supporting a wide range of referrers including the Level 1 Major Trauma Centre, Vascular and Neuro intervention, Paediatric, Musculoskeletal, and Oncology services.

Being part of the University Hospital of North Midlands offers the opportunity to contribute to the training of student Radiographers during their clinical placements and of CT Radiographers on Band 5/6 preceptorship.

Your Day-to-Day Role Would Include:
  1. Performing high-quality CT scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  2. Keeping up-to-date with the latest CT techniques and protocols.
  3. Ensuring the efficient and effective running of the CT lists, adhering to policies and procedures to provide a safe environment for patients.
  4. Participating in the supervision of student Radiographers and training of CT Radiographers on Band 5/6 preceptorship.
  5. Maintaining good working relationships with all departments.
  6. Being proactive and eager to fulfill the responsibilities of the Band 6 role as outlined in the Job Description.
