Job summary

Nuffield Health Tees Hospital is seeking a part-time Radiographer to join the radiology team. You will contribute to diagnostic imaging, work across the department, ward, and theatre, and support senior staff with new practices and equipment.

Applicants should hold a BSc in diagnostic radiography with HCPC registration, and a postgraduate qualification is advantageous. The role offers a supportive environment and opportunities for professional development within the UK's largest healthcare

  • Contribute to policy development and procedures.
  • Supervise and develop junior colleagues.
  • Maintain compassionate and sensitive patient care at all times.

Job description

Radiographer Tees Hospital | Radiology | Permanent | Part Time | Up to £39,000 per annum pro rata depending on experience 7.5 hours per week State-of-the-art equipment and more time to focus on what matters. We’re the UK’s largest Healthcare Charity and this is the career you’ve always wanted.

We’ll ask you to see each patient as an individual, carrying out your role with understanding and empathy. As a Radiographer at our hospital, you’ll bring high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You have a great eye for detail and you’re caring by nature. You hold a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a postgraduate qualification and excellent teamwork skills.

Responsibilities
  • Help deliver our high-quality diagnostic imaging service
  • Experience a varied caseload in the department, on the ward and in theatre
  • Work with leading practitioners and new practices, equipment and facilities
  • Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures
  • Supervise and develop junior colleagues
  • Ensure that what you do is delivered with sensitivity and compassion
