A leading healthcare provider in London is seeking a Radiographer to join their imaging department. The successful candidate will perform various imaging procedures while ensuring high standards of patient care and quality images. Candidates must be HCPC registered and hold relevant qualifications, with a proactive attitude towards teamwork and professionalism.
This role is accountable for performing imaging procedureswhich may include MRI, CT, Xray, Dexa or Ultrasound, deferring to Senior orLead radiologists when required. This role requires a high degree ofprofessionalism at all times to ensure provision of a high quality, responsiveand patient-focused service.
Undertaking a wide variety MRI, CT and Xrays,
Preparing patients for imaging procedures,explains the procedure and ensures that the patient is comfortable and properlypositioned.
Ensuring all referrals are justified and provideadvise on protocols, if required
Ensuring consistently high-quality images areproduced.
Assessing images for quality and clinicalsignificant and escalate urgent findings as necessary.
Administering contrast media in line with PGDguidance, SOPs & protocols.
Responsible for own clinical areas with regardsto linen change and cleanliness.

Maintains the highest standards of bothpractical work and patient care at all times, including patient privacy anddignity. Provide support and reassurance to patients and families.
Maintains own personal continual professionaldevelopment and a professional portfolio in line with HCPC & CoRrecommendations and requirements.
Carry out responsibilities in relation tosafeguarding children and vulnerable adults, to have knowledge of supportingpolicies and safety and to undertake the appropriate level of training for yourrole.
