Job summary

London North West University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a motivated Band 5 Radiographer to join their diagnostic imaging team. The role covers across all LNWH sites, with training available in all modalities and opportunities for advanced practice, including PICC line insertions and Radiographer-led lists.

You will work a mix of day and night shifts, supporting a busy radiology service and contributing to student learning and development of junior staff.

Qualifications

• Qualified radiographer at band 5 with NHS experience.
• Willing to work across sites and shifts including nights.
• Training in all imaging modalities is provided and there are opportunities for advanced practice.

Responsibilities

• Work within a team of radiographic and clerical staff.
• Provide a high standard of expertise and care in diagnostic imaging.
• Deliver imaging services across sites, including out-of-hours support.
• Facilitate learning for students and junior staff.

Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for highly motivated and dedicated band 5 Radiographers to join the team at London North West University Hospitals NHS Trust. The role is to cover across all sites.

We offer training in all modalities and have established advanced practice such as PICC line insertions, Radiographer led HSG lists, GI lists and reporting to name a few.

You will be expected to work a combination of days Monday to Sunday in and out of hours including nights.

• To work within a team of radiographic and clerical staff within the Trust
• To provide a high standard of expertise and care,
• To provide a diagnostic imaging service in areas where trained both in and out of normal working hours.
• To help facilitate learning for students and less experienced staff
