Job summary

North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 5 Radiographer for our Imaging Department. You will produce high quality diagnostic images and deliver high standard patient care across multiple modalities, including dental, theatre, A&E, orthopaedics, endoscopy, CT and fluoroscopy.

You will work across the clinical rota with occasional extended hours and a role that may involve venepuncture and representation at trust-wide meetings as part of service improvements.

• Participate in all areas of the clinical rota to include dental, theatre, accident and emergency, orthopaedics, endoscopy, mobile procedures, paediatrics, CT and fluoroscopy and work independently when required.

To produce high quality diagnostic images and provide high quality patient care to the service users adhering to national guidelines and taking into account relevant legislation including, but not limited to, the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (IR(ME)R) 2018 and the Ionising Radiation Regulations 2017 (IRR17).

The post holder will participate in all areas of the clinical rota to include dental, theatre, accident and emergency, orthopaedics, endoscopy, mobile procedures, paediatrics, CT and fluoroscopy and work independently when required. There will be a requirement to work outside of normal working hours, where you will be working unsupervised in a multi disciplinary role as part of the decision process in patient management (A&E red dot).

May undertake one of more of the following as extended role:

• Venopuncture
• Work in a specialised modality, e.g. Computerised Tomography
• Representative at Trust wide meetings e.g. improving working lives
