Job summary

London North West University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an experienced radiology professional to join our busy radiology department. The post requires radiology expertise, a cannulating certificate, and a willingness to work a rota including nights and on-call across days Monday to Sunday.

The successful candidate will supervise and train staff and students, participate in MDT discussions, and help provide a diagnostic imaging service during hours and out of hours.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Radiology and cannulating certificate required.
• Specialty Modality Experience Is Essential For This Post.
• Good communication skills, multidisciplinary teamworking and the ability to supervise and train other staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Work a combination of days Monday to Sunday in and out of hours including nights/on call.
• Work within a team of radiographic and clerical staff within the Trust.
• Provide a high standard of expertise and care, and lead areas of the department in the absence of the Modality Superintendent.
• Provide a diagnostic imaging service in hours and out of hours and help facilitate learning for students and less experienced staff.
• Only candidates with the legal right to work in UK will be considered.
