Join a leading healthcare provider as a Band 5 Radiographer in Brighton. This role offers diverse experiences across several departments, including A&E and paediatrics, with a focus on professional development and a supportive work environment. Ideal for recent graduates and those with NHS experience.
We are looking to recruit Band 5 radiographers to join our Radiography Department based in Brighton at The Royal Sussex County Hospital, with rotation to other departments at Hove Polyclinic, Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital, and Princess Royal Hospital at Haywards Heath.
We welcome applications from student diagnostic radiographers due to qualify in summer 2025, who have recent practical radiography experience in an NHS setting, particularly in general radiography areas, and an interest in working at University Hospitals Sussex.
These Band 5 posts are based at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton (RSCH) and offer rotations and experience in our paediatric department at Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital, our satellite GP department at Hove Polyclinic, and in Princess Royal Hospital at Haywards Heath, including the Sussex Orthopaedic Treatment Centre.
Join us as we operate in a state-of-the-art department in the newly built Louisa Martindale Building on the RSCH site, opened in May 2023.
You will have the opportunity to develop your A&E experience in our busy 24-hour A&E X-ray Department, providing major trauma and emergency services, including weekend and night duties. Additionally, you will gain experience in mobile, theatre work, fluoroscopy, and paediatric radiography across our departments.
Applicants must gain HCPC registration upon qualifying and have recent NHS clinical experience.
We offer ongoing professional development support, a friendly and stimulating work environment, and promote diversity and inclusion. We are proud to be a Disability Confident Employer (Level 2) and a Veteran Aware Trust.
Our Wellbeing Programme supports staff, including flexible working options. We value learning, teaching, and training, aiming for your growth and development throughout your career with us.
