Position Overview

We seek a highly skilled and motivated PCB Test Engineer to join our team specializing in aerospace components.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PCB testing, troubleshooting, and validation, focusing on ensuring the reliability and performance of aerospace electronic systems.

This is a contract position, with an onsite location in Solihull.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for PCB assemblies used in aerospace applications.
• Perform functional, environmental, and performance testing on PCB components.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with PCB assemblies and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure testability and reliability of PCB designs.
• Document test procedures, results, and provide detailed reports.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in PCB testing and validation.
• Strong knowledge of PCB design, manufacturing, and testing processes.
• Experience with testing equipment and tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
• Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated testing systems and software.
• Knowledge of RF testing and analysis.
• Understanding of thermal and vibration testing for aerospace components.
• Certification in IPC standards for PCB testing and inspection.
