Rimac Energy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the testing and validation of battery stationary storage systems and associated test rigs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, hands-on experience with battery testing procedures, and a passion for contributing to the development of sustainable energy solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop comprehensive test plans for Test Rigs, Battery, and Cell Testing.
- Carry out testing activities related to batteries and cells, including performance, reliability, and safety testing.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
- Operation and maintenance of Test Rigs used for various testing purposes.
- Ensure Test Rigs are equipped with appropriate test instrumentation for accurate data collection and monitoring.
- Implement and enhance monitoring systems to track the performance and health of Test Rigs during testing.
- Analyse test results, identify issues, and work closely with development teams to resolve defects and improve product quality.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test reports, providing clear and concise documentation of test results, issues, and resolutions.
- Communicate testing progress and results to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in testing and validation of battery storage systems.
- Strong understanding of battery technologies, energy storage systems, and relevant testing standards
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, instrumentation, and monitoring tools.
- Experience with test automation and scripting languages.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
