Job summary

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Radiation Protection or City & Guilds – Radiation Safety Practices.
• ONC / HNC or equivalent in relevant discipline.
• Membership of appropriate technical / professional body.
• Level 2 Health & Safety in the Workplace or equivalent - training provided if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform activities and assessments on tasks, equipment or environments with radiological impact.
• Ensure compliance with IRR 17 as instructed by the RPS.
• Carry out radiological surveys and analyses.
• Monitor personnel and areas; maintain records and documentation.
• Assist project engineers with work/test instructions and studies.
• Report progress and results to the RPS/Supervisor/Site Manager.
