NSG Environmental Ltd, with over 40 years in the nuclear sector, seeks a Health Physics professional to perform radiological assessments and ensure IRR17 compliance. DV clearance is required, and you will work across decommissioning and related projects at various UK sites.

You will liaise with internal teams and client representatives, maintain records, and support engineers on tests and procedures. A strong background in health physics surveillance is essential.

Competenze

• ONC / HNC or equivalent in relevant discipline - Desirable
• NVQ Level 2 Radiation Protection or City & Guilds – Radiation Safety Practices - Essential
• Membership of appropriate technical / professional body - Desirable
• Level 2 Health & Safety in the Workplace or equivalent - Training provided if required

Mansioni

• Carry out radiological surveys and analyses
• Perform routine Health Physics tasks and instrument checks
• Monitor personnel and areas for radiological risks
• Prepare and maintain records and documentation
• Assist project engineers with work/test instructions
