Job summary

World Class Defence Organisation based in Stevenage and Bristol is seeking a Systems Performance Modelling Engineer on a 12-month contract. Base site can be Stevenage or Bristol; onsite work required with a possible 4-day Mon-Thu week.

The role involves modelling in Matlab/Simulink for a seeker RF radar, developing auto-code, and integrating into the missile dynamic model. IR35 inside (Umbrella) applies.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink for model-based design.
• Experience in developing models for seeker hardware and algorithms.
• Ability to produce test vectors and auto-code from models.

Responsibilities

• Modelling the seeker RF radar in Matlab/Simulink.
• Develop and implement algorithms within the model.
• Produce auto-code for software algorithms from the model.
• Verify seeker performance and provide model documentation.
• Upgrade legacy Seeker models to newer MATLAB/Simulink versions.
• Document model changes and create test vectors.
