Landmarc Support Services Limited seeks a proactive Training Area Operative to support the Defence Training Estate. You will monitor radar and camera systems, assist with range activities, and help maintain range assets while working as part of a close-knit team.

The role blends practical outdoor duties with technology-driven monitoring and control tasks, requiring health and safety awareness and reliable teamwork in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational or safety-critical environments.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Support safe delivery of live firing and military training activities.
• Monitor range activity using radar, camera and surveillance systems.
• Operate computer systems to capture data.
• Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance of range assets.
• Operate vehicles, plant and equipment per training and authorisation.
• Maintain accurate records and reports using digital and paper-based systems.
