Job summary

Inotiv in the UK is hiring an Animal Technician at our Hillcrest site in Belton, near Loughborough. You’ll care for rabbits and rodents in a production facility, performing feeding, cleaning and breeding tasks while maintaining accurate records.

The role is a full-time, 18-month fixed-term contract with rota-based weekends and bank holidays, potential to become permanent. Starting salary is £26,501.83, with core benefits and a supportive training environment.

Qualifications

• Qualification in animal care or related field.
• Experience handling rabbits/rodents is preferred.
• Attention to detail for recording breeding, feeding and care activities.

Responsibilities

• Feed, clean and care for rabbits and rodents in a production facility.
• Maintain accurate records of breeding, feeding and care activities.
• Coordinate order details including selection and packaging where required.
• Work on a weekend/ bank holiday rota and in a team environment.
