The role will guide the transition of R2R processes into a centralised GBS environment and establish consistent global standards across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in R2R / Finance Transformation within a complex, international organisation.
• Proven experience as an R2R Global Process Owner or similar leadership role.
• Strong track record moving finance processes to shared services / GBS.
• Experience designing and implementing Finance Target Operating Models.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end R2R processes and finance controls.
• Experience across multiple countries, entities and stakeholders.
• Programme / transformation management capability at strategic and detailed levels.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Workday or MS Dynamics is advantageous.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior finance leadership.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Finance leadership, GBS, Technology and transformation teams on the transition.
• Establish global standards, KPIs, SLAs and governance frameworks.
• Identify opportunities for automation, digitisation and control enhancements.
• Manage key stakeholder relationships across finance and regional units.
• Support selection and implementation of enabling ERP technology and finance initiatives.
• Ensure the transitioned model delivers improved standardisation, control and efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement post-transition and promote ongoing optimisation.

R2R Global Process Owner

My client, an international business services group, is looking for an experienced Record-to-Report (R2R) Global Process Owner to lead the transition, standardisation and ongoing optimisation of the R2R function within a large, international organisation.

This is a transformation-focused role with responsibility for defining the global R2R operating model, leading the transition of processes into a centralised / GBS environment, and establishing consistent global standards across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the global R2R process, establishing consistent processes, controls, policies and ways of working across multiple countries and entities.
• Lead the transition of R2R activities from local / decentralised teams into a Global Business Services / shared services environment.
• Define and implement the R2R Target Operating Model, including process design, organisation, governance, controls and service delivery.
• Drive standardisation and harmonisation of core R2R processes including General Ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, intercompany, fixed assets, reconciliations and statutory accounting.
• Work closely with Finance leadership, GBS / Shared Services, Technology and transformation teams to deliver the transition programme.
• Establish global process standards, KPIs, SLAs and governance frameworks.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, digitisation and control enhancement.
• Manage key stakeholders across Finance, regional businesses and corporate functions, ensuring effective adoption of the new operating model.
• Support the selection and implementation of enabling technology, including ERP and finance transformation initiatives.
• Ensure the transitioned R2R model delivers improved standardisation, control, efficiency and service quality.
• Lead continuous improvement of the R2R process following transition and embed a culture of ongoing optimisation.

Experience Required

• Significant experience in R2R / Finance Transformation, ideally gained within a complex, international organisation.
• Proven experience as an R2R Global Process Owner, Finance Transformation Lead, R2R Transformation Director or similar.
• Strong track record of transitioning finance processes from local / decentralised environments into shared services or GBS.
• Experience designing and implementing Finance Target Operating Models.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end R2R processes and finance controls.
• Experience working across multiple countries, entities and stakeholders.
• Strong programme / transformation management capability, with the ability to operate at both strategic and detailed process level.
• Experience with major ERP environments such as SAP, Oracle, Workday or Microsoft Dynamics would be advantageous.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior Finance leadership.

Desirable

Experience within a consulting environment such as Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG or Accenture would be advantageous, particularly where this has involved Finance Transformation, GBS, Target Operating Model design or large-scale process transition programmes.

This is an opportunity for an experienced R2R transformation professional to take genuine global ownership of the process and lead a significant transition and operating model change, rather than simply managing an existing finance operation.
