Job summary

TGR Haas F1 Team in Banbury, UK, seeks a skilled test and R&D technician to support day-to-day operations within their area of responsibility, ensuring service, quality, and performance standards are met. The role is factory‑based in Banbury with opportunities to travel with the team.

The successful candidate will conduct non‑destructive testing, operate test equipment, log results and collaborate across departments to drive continuous improvement in a fast‑paced motorsport context.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent required; further education desired.
• 5 years of experience in a similar role or motorsport environment (preferably Formula 1).
• Maintain calm and focus in high‑pressure environments; handle setbacks well.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for component testing for performance, reliability and proof testing incl. non‑destructive testing of race car and pit equipment.
• Assist service and test processes, meeting strict deadlines.
• Document and publish reports on test results and fault finding.
• Operate R&D test equipment, loggers and sensors; follow test procedures.
• Collaborate with R&D Lead Team Leader to implement tests as required.
