Job summary

PwC in London is seeking an R&D Tax Senior Associate to join the Financial Services Tax Innovation & Capital Incentives team. You will lead defined workstreams, build strong client relationships, and help manage engagement teams across a range of financial services clients.

You will use your knowledge of R&D regimes and tax guidance to deliver high-quality reports and claims, support business development, and coach junior colleagues while staying up to date with HMRC guidance.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of R&D regimes and practical experience in R&D claims.
• Ability to lead client communications and manage multiple workstreams.
• Professional tax qualification or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality work across R&D tax incentive projects and own defined workstreams.
• Build effective client relationships, coordinating information requests and meetings.
• Collaborate with Managers to plan projects, meet deadlines and maintain quality.
• Utilise AI tools to prepare reports and technical summaries for HMRC claims.
• Mentor junior colleagues and provide constructive coaching.
• Identify value-adding opportunities for clients and contribute to business development.
