ICAEW in London seeks an experienced R&D Tax Manager to join the Financial Services Tax Innovation & Capital Incentives team. The role is client facing from day one, leading relationships, overseeing R&D reliefs, Patent Box and Capital Allowances claims while applying HMRC guidance.

Expect to coach juniors and contribute to project delivery across the firm. You will work with senior managers, use AI tools to support reports, and seek opportunities to add value for clients across the firm.

Qualificações

• Strong understanding of R&D regimes and R&D claims preparation.
• Ability to lead client calls and provide documentation for HMRC filings.
• Autonomy to manage development and partner with clients.
• Passion for client service and ability to handle multiple stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coach junior staff, sharing knowledge.
• Manage client relationships and project delivery with deadlines.
• Collaborate with senior managers to support client engagements.
• Prepare and review technical summaries and numerical claims for HMRC.
• Identify opportunities to add value across the firm and with clients.
• Engage in business development and win work for existing and new clients.
• Coordinate with tax teams and other lines of service.
