Job summary

EY in London is seeking a Consultant/Senior Consultant for the R&D Tax – Science / Engineering team. You will work with clients ranging from owner-managed businesses to multinational groups, identifying R&D aspects that qualify for relief and drafting reports on projects.

You will lead interviews with senior technical staff, analyze data to quantify expenditures, and contribute to cross-sector claims while supporting business development and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree in science, technology or engineering.
• 1+ years' experience in science/engineering industry.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead interviews with senior technical staff to identify R&D qualifying aspects.
• Write and review reports on R&D projects.
• Identify how projects meet R&D guidelines.
• Quantify project expenditures via data analysis.
