Job Description Summary

  • To maintain our clients Pharma & Biotech as a leading contract manufacturer through the development and optimization of new mammalian cell culture technologies. This lab-based role involves designing, executing, and analyzing experiments to optimize and scale-up bioprocesses for biologics production.
Job Description (Key Accountabilities)
  • Set up, operate, and maintain lab-scale bioreactors for mammalian cell culture. Monitor bioprocess parameters and ensure optimal conditions for cell growth and productivity.
  • Working closely with the upstream R&D team; plan and execute several complex (non-routine) lab-scale fed-batch and perfusion bioreactor process development and optimization.
  • Engage in routine mammalian cell culture workflows involving media preparation, revival and subculture as required for an experiment.
  • Generate experimental results and review respective scientific documentation.
  • Help ensure lab procedures are adhered to and support safety assessments.
  • Perform other lab duties as assigned.
  • General housekeeping activities or upkeep and smooth laboratory operation.
