Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an R&D Engineer/Technologist (Materials Science/Chemistry) for a permanent on-site role in the Stoke-on-Trent area. You will lead cradle-to-grave development projects to improve product range and processes.

You should have a degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Ceramics, Metallurgy or related field, and hands-on R&D experience in manufacturing. A full driving license is required, and you will work with pilots, trials, and suppliers to drive new products

Qualifications

• Degree-level background in Chemistry, Materials Science, Ceramics, Metallurgy or similar.
• Experience in R&D / product development / materials development within a manufacturing environment.
• Full driving license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support product/material development projects from concept through to production.
• Plan, conduct and evaluate laboratory, pilot and production trials on-site in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
• Full-time permanent position, on-site working.
