Qualifications

• Active UK SC Clearance required
• Hands-on electrical or mechanical assembly experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics
• Experience using test and measurement equipment
• Experience in fast-paced R&D environments with attention to quality
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble and modify prototypes, test rigs and demonstrator systems
• Work from engineering drawings, schematics, specifications and work instructions
• Carry out testing and measurements using engineering test equipment
• Operate and maintain laboratory, workshop and engineering equipment
• Complete inspections and quality checks on builds and assemblies
• Troubleshoot and fault-find electrical and mechanical build issues
• Support engineers with prototype development and design improvements
• Manage components, materials and laboratory consumables
• Maintain a safe, organised and compliant laboratory/workshop environment
