Job summary

PepsiCo is offering a 12-month placement in our Global R&D Foods Product Development teams in the UK. You’ll work on product innovation, productivity, continuity and long-term research projects alongside scientists and engineers in development kitchens, labs and manufacturing plants.

You’ll gain autonomy to influence projects, develop practical skills, and grow in a fast-paced, energetic environment with mentoring and exposure to real business impact starting July 2027.

Qualifications

• Studying Food Science, Nutrition or related discipline; passion for food innovation.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong data analysis and numerical interpretation abilities.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Highly self-motivated with good organizational skills.
• Strong critical thinking and initiative to deliver results.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate across audiences.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on product development with kitchen, pilot and factory trials.
• Collaborate with insights and analytical teams to measure attributes and consumer preferences.
• Coordinate with R&D, cross-functional teams and contractors globally.
• Develop fundamental scientific insights underpinning product development.
• Organize product testing, sample shipments, analysis and reporting results.
