University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust invites applications for the role of R&D Finance Assistant - Operational Finance. This permanent position supports financial administration, invoice processing, reporting and reconciliation tasks within the Research & Development Finance team.

The successful candidate will work under supervision, handle Oracle-based financial activities, liaise with budget holders and suppliers, and help ensure timely, accurate financial information to support research

Formación

• Essential financial knowledge and experience in financial procedures.
• Experience with invoice processing and financial administration is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Raising invoices and requisitions within the Oracle financial system.
• Assisting with financial data entry, journals, spreadsheets, and control accounts.
• Investigating invoices, payment, payroll, and coding queries.
• Supporting the production of monthly management reports.
• Liaising with budget holders, suppliers, and finance colleagues to resolve financial issues.
• Monitoring and following up outstanding debts and escalating issues when required.
• Maintaining accurate financial records, databases, and reporting information.
