Job summary

Edwards Surfacing (KAE Ltd) in Buckinghamshire is seeking a Sales Estimator to take charge of quotations and win more work. Based at the Great Horwood office, you will price jobs from measurements, photos and satellite imagery, and turn survey data into rapid quotations.

You will manage the lead register, follow up results, and work with surveyors, office staff and suppliers to ensure accurate pricing. The role offers a progressive, family-run environment with a competitive salary and

Qualifications

• Experience pricing work in construction, civils, surfacing or related trade.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications with accuracy.
• Organised and able to manage multiple quotations simultaneously.
• Confident with measurements, quantities and rates.
• UK driving license.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and learning new software.

Responsibilities

• Manage the lead register and ensure every enquiry is picked up promptly.
• Price straightforward jobs yourself from measurements, photographs and satellite imagery.
• Turn the surveyors' site measurements into priced quotations, usually the same day.
• Follow up open quotations and record the outcome, whether we win the job or not.
• Work with our four surveyors, the office team and our suppliers to get the detail right.
• Help us understand why we win and lose, so we can price better over time.
