Job summary

Breedon Group plc at Hope Cement Works in Derbyshire is seeking a Quarry Process Operator to join the Quarry Production team. The role requires flexible, self-motivated individuals with a positive attitude and the ability to work shifts, including weekends, to support continuous operations.

Responsibilities include loading at the face, operating wheeled loaders or 360 excavators, hauling materials to the crusher, running processing systems and performing first-line maintenance and housekeeping

Qualifications

• GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English.
• NVQ Level 2 or MPQC qualification in truck, excavator and loader operations.
• Operational experience in quarrying.
• Excellent safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operating to high health, safety and environmental standards.
• Loading at the face with a wheeled loader or 360 excavator.
• Hauling materials from the quarry face to the crusher.
• Operation of the processing systems.
• First line maintenance and housekeeping duties.
