Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group are seeking an experienced Quarry Manager to lead operations at a busy hard rock quarry and asphalt production site near Llanelli, South Wales. You will drive safety, production performance and regulatory compliance while leading multi-disciplinary teams.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will manage budgets, equipment reliability and continuous improvement, balancing cost control with high standards of quality and delivery for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in quarrying or mineral extraction operations.
• Knowledge of the Quarries Regulations 1999.
• Proven leadership of production teams.

Responsibilities

• Take full operational responsibility for quarrying activities and asphalt production.
• Lead, manage and develop site teams to achieve production, safety and operational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with Quarries Regulations 1999 and health & safety procedures.
• Manage budgets, control expenditure and identify efficiency improvements.
• Oversee extraction, crushing, screening, processing and material movement.
• Ensure production targets and customer delivery requirements are met.
