Job summary

Breedon Group is seeking a hands-on Quarry Operations Coordinator to assist the Quarry Manager in delivering safe and efficient extraction and production activities at the site. You will support day-to-day planning, coordinate across departments, and help ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

The role emphasizes conducting risk assessments, leading safety initiatives, and managing administrative duties such as reporting, records, procurement and budget control.

Qualifications

• Background in the extractive industry and familiarity with the extractive process.
• Strong focus on health, safety and environmental management and zero harm culture.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quarry Manager with safe and efficient management and operation of the quarry.
• Assist in management of production and extraction activities and troubleshooting of technical problems.
• Oversight of day-to-day planning across site in collaboration with other departments.
• Conduct risk assessments and health and safety inspections; demonstrate leadership in safety.
