Qualifications

• Experience of quarry face operations is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to prioritize work effectively.

Responsibilities

• Work in a quarry environment to extract rock from a quarry face.
• Load articulated dump trucks and undertake general maintenance tasks.

Skills

Quarry / Mobile Plant Operative

Dewsbury, West Yorkshire

40 hours per week + overtime

Annual Salary £30,023 / £ per hour (40 hours per week) + overtime

So, what’s the Mission about?

We are currently in the process of delivering a significant investment in our Howley Park quarrying operation and have an opportunity for the right mobile plant (excavator) operative.

The role will involve :

• Working in a quarry environment
• Extraction of rock from a quarry face
• Loading articulated dump trucks
• General maintenance tasks

The ideal candidate should have :

• A current MPQC or CPCS licence or equivalent to operate an Excavator.
• Experience of quarry face operations (not essential as full training will be provided)
• Be able to work on their own or as part of a team.
• Ability to adapt to operational changes and prioritise work effectively.
• General mobile plant maintenance requirements

The successful candidate will be working within a small team and will be required to work and carry out a multitude of different tasks.
