Job summary

Infleqtion is seeking a Data Scientist to join our team focused on time series modelling and control systems for quantum sensors. You will develop predictive algorithms, identify dynamic patterns, and build models that enable real-time decision-making across our quantum sensing platforms.

The role blends data science with physics and engineering, requiring strong Python skills, ML model development, and production-ready coding.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in STEM.
• Strong Python skills with libraries (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn).
• Experience training ML models from scratch.
• Solid foundation in applied mathematics and physics.
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices (Git, CI/CD, tests).
• Ability to produce production-ready, modular code.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement time series forecasting, anomaly detection, and predictive maintenance models.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deploy models to live quantum sensors.
• Evaluate model performance and build tooling to continuously refine them.
• Analyse large-scale sensor and telemetry data from quantum sensor systems.
• Manage priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver project objectives.
