Job summary

Infleqtion is hiring a Quantum Software Engineer to design, implement, and optimise quantum algorithms across domains such as simulation, optimization, and sensing-enabled workflows. You will work with hardware, control, and research teams to turn theoretical advances into scalable workloads using modern SDKs, compilers, and estimation frameworks.

The role requires a Masters in a relevant field with strong Python and quantum software experience.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in a quantitative field; PhD desirable.
• Proficient Python programming; quantum SDKs experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and ability to work across functions.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop quantum applications and algorithms.
• Optimize quantum workloads with cloud platforms and toolchains.
• Interface with customers to understand needs and support deployments.
• Contribute to proposals and execution on global programs.
• Collaborate with experimentalists and software engineers to bridge theory and practice.
• Publish findings and present at conferences.
• Stay updated on quantum computer architecture and compilation.
