Job summary

Infleqtion is seeking a Data Scientist to develop predictive algorithms for time series data from quantum sensors. You will model dynamic patterns, detect anomalies, and help automate real-time decision-making in a high-impact role bridging data science, physics and engineering.

Work will be split between our Kidlington, Oxford office and the National Quantum Computing Centre, Harwell, with up to 2 days remote per week and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in a STEM field (maths, science, engineering etc.).
• Strong programming skills in Python with libraries for data science.
• Demonstrable experience building and training ML models.

Responsibilities

• Design time series models for forecasting and anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to deploy models on quantum sensors.
• Evaluate model performance and build data pipelines for production.
• Analyse large-scale sensor data from quantum sensor systems.
• Prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and drive project objectives.
