Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley, a design and build business, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage costs across a diverse Yorkshire Water project portfolio. You will oversee cost reporting, procurement, and contractor contracts, driving value and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

You will contribute from early contractor involvement through to handover, coordinating with delivery teams to ensure projects finish on time, to budget and to required quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering (preferred).
• Experience and knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Experience supporting the commercial management of construction projects through the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Ensure robust cost management processes with accurate reporting, data and analysis.
• Support procurement activities and supply chain engagement.
• Assist with subcontractor and supplier management, including tendering and procurement.
• Work with delivery teams to identify and implement efficiency improvements.
• Support clients to maximise opportunities and mitigate risks.
