Job summary

The Guinness Partnership is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support financial efficiency and contractual compliance across development projects and major repairs within our housing portfolio. You will work closely with Planned Delivery Managers, Surveyors and service providers to ensure value for money and adherence to contract terms.

Experience in social housing and asset maintenance is essential, along with strong IT skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing and asset maintenance.
• Proven ability to manage costs and commercial aspects of contracts using a schedule of rates.
• Ability to develop, prepare and issue performance reports.
• Experience negotiating costs and contract terms with contractors.
• Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Ensure financial efficiency and contractual compliance across development projects and major repairs.
• Collaborate with Planned Delivery Managers, Surveyors, the Project Delivery team and service providers.
• Carry out commercial checks in line with contract conditions.
