Job summary

Crucial People Ltd in Central London is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic commercial team working on high-profile buildings and sophisticated M&E projects.

You will manage tendering, cost planning, post-contract accounting and cash flow monitoring across the full project lifecycle, collaborate with engineers and site delivery, read technical drawings and produce accurate take-offs while ensuring NEC contract compliance. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• QS degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Experience with cost capture and measurement.
• Ability to read technical drawings and produce accurate take-offs.
• Good organisational and deadline-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Engage in end-to-end project lifecycle from tendering to post-contract accounting.
• Handle cost planning, cost control and cash flow monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineers, project management and site delivery teams.
• Ensure NEC contract terms are applied and issues identified early.
