Job summary

Corrie Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor for a permanent role in Inverness. You will be part of the civil engineering contractor's construction team, overseeing financial and contractual control on assigned contracts and performing re-measurements.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, detailed knowledge of construction techniques and contract conditions, and the ability to prepare interim payments and variations.

Qualifications

• Experience negotiating terms and final accounts with subcontractors, suppliers, clients or their representatives.
• Strong financial and contractual control over construction contracts.
• Detailed knowledge of construction techniques and commonly used contract conditions.
• Excellent communication skills in client and team interactions.

Responsibilities

• Form part of the construction team for specific contracts.

Corrie Recruitment are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor for our medium sized Inverness based Civil Engineering Contractor.

Key Duties/ Responsibilities

• Form part of the construction team for specific contracts.
• Assist financial and contractual control over the contracts allocated.
