Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment seeks a Quantity Surveyor for refurbishment projects across heritage, defence and public sector sites. Based in Plymouth, you will manage valuations, cost reports and maintain contractual relationships on listed buildings.

You will work on heritage and listed projects with hybrid working, 31 days holiday and a £5,000 car allowance. Salary £70,000–£75,000 with progression opportunities.

Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking to join a thriving, rapidly growing, family-run company, with the opportunity to work on exciting refurbishment projects across heritage, defence and public sector sites?

In this role you will be working as a Quantity Surveyor tasked with valuations, cost reports and ensuring that contractual relationships are maintained. You will be responsible for planning and occasional site visits. You will be mainly working on refurbishment projects for heritage sites and listed buildings.
This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor looking to work in an ambitious company, who wants to be at the forefront of large-scale, bespoke multi-million-pound projects.
