Job summary

Watkin Jones PLC is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Refresh division, focusing on refurbishment and building improvement. You’ll be involved in commercial activities from upfront estimation to project completion, across diverse schemes with site and office visits as required.

The role offers hybrid working with home-based tasks and regular reporting to the project team and senior leads. Experience in reclad or refurbishment projects is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quantity surveying with the ability to manage projects end-to-end.
• Experience in new build projects is valuable; refurbishment experience is advantageous.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and communicate with stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, procurement, and CVR basics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial aspects from early estimation through to project completion.
• Engage with project teams and stakeholders to drive delivery.
• Support procurement, CVR processes, and reporting to senior leads.
• Balance cost, value, and risk across diverse refurbishment projects.
