Job summary

NY Highways Property in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, is seeking a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to lead cost forecasting, budgeting, and value comparisons on capital projects and responsive maintenance across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties.

You will work with Project Managers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. A strong focus on safety and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• HND (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Working towards professional membership (e.g. RICS, CIOB, ICES)
• CSCS card (or willingness to obtain one)
• Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Commitment to Health & Safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the county
