Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, highways, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong commercial and contract management skills.
  • Experience in cost forecasting and reporting, change management, compensation events, and final accounts.
  • Knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts and procurement management.
  • Experience managing project costs and budgets with stakeholder coordination.

Summary

We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join NY Highways for a 3-month contract, focusing on the commercial management of highways and infrastructure projects. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial and contractual success of projects, working closely with various stakeholders to deliver projects efficiently and profitably. You will manage all commercial aspects, including cost control, forecasting, and risk management, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements.
