Job summary

Tech Search Solutions seeks a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor for demolition projects across the East Midlands. The role can be permanent or freelance, with a steady pipeline and competitive rates or salary.

You will lead the commercial management, oversee subcontractor packages, valuations and payments, and work closely with site teams to protect margins and drive successful final accounts.

Qualifications

• Proven QS or Senior QS experience, ideally within demolition.
• Strong commercial awareness and contract knowledge.
• Experience with NEC and/or JCT contracts.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects.
• Practical, organised and happy to get out on site.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of projects.

Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor - Demolition

Job Type: Permanent or Freelance

Salary / Rate: Competitive, depending on experience

We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established demolition contractor delivering projects across the East Midlands and surrounding areas.

The contractor has a strong pipeline of work and is happy to consider someone on either a permanent or freelance basis.

We need someone commercially sharp who understands demolition, enabling works and site clearance, and can take control of the commercial side of projects without needing their hand held.

The Role:

• Commercial management of demolition and enabling works projects.
• Managing subcontractor packages, valuations and payments.
• Cost reporting, forecasting and protecting project margins.
