Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a Quantity Surveyor Construction to manage commercial and financial aspects across large-scale projects in Northern Ireland, with some exposure to the ROI market. The role requires proven QS experience in construction, strong IT skills, and excellent communication and numerical abilities.

The position offers a competitive salary band (£40,000–£60,000) and a comprehensive benefits package, including a company van.

Qualifications

• Must have Quantity Surveyor experience within the construction industry.
• Ideally experience within large scale commercial projects.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial and financial aspects of multiple construction projects, ensuring costs are controlled and budgets are maintained.
• Prepare cost estimates, valuations, financial reports, variations, and final accounts.
• Support procurement activities, including tender analysis, subcontractor appointments, and contract administration.
• Carry out regular site visits, monitor project progress, and identify commercial risks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
