Job summary

Ferrovial Construction UK invites applications for a Quantity Surveyor Intern placement from June to August 2026. The role supports commercial management, contract administration and emphasis on cost control on our Sewage Treatment Works project.

Qualifications

• Current student of a Degree or Master’s in Quantity Surveying.
• Excellent written and oral English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day bill of quantities for allocated project sections to ensure financial efficiencies.
• Analyze tender enquiries, quotations and subcontractor procurement.
• Support subcontractor valuations and cost control in line with business financial systems.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure compliance with financial parameters.
• Assist in production and monitoring of applications, final accounts, payment certificates, and change control.
• Check agreed subcontract applications and accounts.
• Maintain document control and contribute to Health and Safety in accordance with company policy.

Ferrovial Construction UK is looking for a Quantity Surveyor Intern to support commercial management and contract administration on our Sewage Treatment Works project, from June to the end of August 2026. The internship is part of the Ferrovial NextGen Programme, designed to develop personal, professional and technical skills through a blended approach under the supervision of senior quantity surveyors.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the day‑to‑day bill of quantities for allocated project sections to ensure financial efficiencies.
• Analyze tender enquiries, quotations and subcontractor procurement.
