Quantity Surveyor Intern (Summer 2026 Placement)

The role:

Ferrovial Construction is looking for Quantity Surveyor Interns to assist with commercial management/contract administration at Heathrow Airport from June to the end of August 2026.

The Ferrovial NextGen Internship programme is designed to develop personal, professional and technical skills through a blended approach. You will work under the supervision of our Senior Quantity Surveyors.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in day‑to‑day bill of quantities to ensure financial efficiencies.
• Analyse subcontractor valuations.
• Assist in cost control in line with the business's financial systems.
• Liaise with procurement teams to ensure compliance with financial parameters.
• Assist in the production and monitoring of applications/final accounts/payment certificates/change control.
• Check agreed sub‑contract applications/accounts.
• Document control.
• Contribute to health and safety compliance per company policy.
• Promote company values in all dealings with employees, clients, subcontractors, and external contacts.

• Currently studying a degree or master’s in quantity surveying.
