Job summary

Conrad Consulting is working with a leading construction and property consultancy to recruit a Quantity Surveyor for a growing portfolio of high-profile nuclear defence projects. Based around Reading, you will join a commercial team delivering major infrastructure schemes with long-term career development and exposure to complex projects.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Experience within infrastructure, defence, utilities or major construction projects.
• Working knowledge of NEC contracts (Alliance contracting experience also considered).
• Strong commercial awareness and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites when required.

• Cost planning and cost management
• Procurement support
• NEC contract administration
• Managing variations and change control
• Financial reporting and forecasting
• Supporting project delivery from inception through to final account
• Building strong relationships with clients and project teams
