Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Exeter-based infrastructure commercial team. You’ll work on highways, rail, water and major programmes with a flexible hybrid working model.

Develop your NEC knowledge, manage commercial delivery, and progress your career within a growing team supporting diverse project types across the South West.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure or related sector.
• Experience working with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts.
• Good commercial and contractual understanding.

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial management of infrastructure projects.
• Prepare cost plans, estimates and forecasts.
• Administer NEC3 and NEC4 contracts.
• Manage change, compensation events and commercial risk.
• Support procurement and tendering activities.
• Prepare valuations, cost reports and financial forecasts.
• Work closely with project teams, clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to successful delivery of major infrastructure programmes.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play an important role in supporting the successful commercial delivery of infrastructure projects, with responsibilities including:

What We're Looking For

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure or a related sector
• Experience working with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts
• Good commercial and contractual understanding
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider team
• A proactive approach and genuine interest in developing your careerTravel to client and project sites may be required from time to time.
