Job summary

Conrad Consulting is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join a Preston-based construction consultancy with a strong reputation in social and affordable housing projects.

You will provide cost management services, prepare estimates and Bills of Quantities, undertake contract administration, and support project delivery. The role offers hybrid working, APC support toward MRICS chartership, and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Experience in cost management and preparing Bills of Quantities is desirable.
• Experience in social/affordable housing projects is advantageous.
• Good understanding of construction contracts and cost management processes.
• Employer's Agent duties experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost management services across social and affordable housing projects.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and tender documentation.
• Assist with the preparation of Bills of Quantities.
• Undertake contract administration and support project delivery.
• Manage valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Support Employer's Agent services where required.
